Grave Robbers from Outer Space the Resurrected Edition (GROS:RE) is a reboot of the original B-movie card game, Grave Robbers from Outer Space (GROS).
Back from the dead, with a new layout and art, GROS:RE introduces new gameplay elements to the classic game.
GROS:RE is a strategy card game for 2-6 players. Players are competing to complete the "best" b-movie. Characters and props add to the value of a player's movie, while locations may add or subtract depending on the location in question. FX cards do all manner of different things. Creature cards are used to attck an opponent's movie in an effort to kill off characters.
Cards have a cost to play (anywhere from 0-3 "popcorn"), and some cards generate popcorn. If a player can't afford the cost of a new card by using their cards in play, additional popcorn can be generated by discarding cards from hand. The popcorn mechanic makes players decide between playing a card to do something now, or holding onto it to pay for something later.
