Equinox is an abstract game for two players, consisting of 8 square tiles of each colour (red and black), placed alternately to form a 4x4 square draught-board.
The goal of the game is to be the first to connect seven of the eight squares of ones colour, either horizontaly, verticaly, or even in both directions.
On his turn, each player moves by sliding them one or more connected tiles in the same direction (horizontaly or verticaly), without exceeding a virtual 6x6 square board.
It is forbidden for a player to play backwards the exact previous movement.
