Ideal for low-level Heroes, Hero Parties of only 1-2 Heroes, or to help out new Heroes joining an existing party, Heroic Efforts are one-use special ability cards that give Heroes a boost with a fun story moment when they need it most. With two ways to integrate these cards into your adventures, using Up Against the World or Struggle for Survival, Heroic Efforts give Heroes a fighting chance (especially when paired with the dangerous Ruinous Nightmare cards in the Nightmares From Beyond Supplement).
