TODTCG is a game about the spirit of remembrance! Play casually or competitively in different ways with any single tribe or multiple tribes & archetypes to create unique synergies, combos & field moves from your front or back row!
Each tribe represents a different theme & playstyle. The goal is to defend your tribal, then summon & sacrifice creatures & spells to reduce your opponent's tribal life points to 0, whether through battle or alternative win conditions.
TODTCG consists of 4 phases. Gathering, Preparation, Command, & Combat.
There are 8 card types that are put into 3 groups. Source Type (Chosen & Tribals) Creatures (Members, Spirits & Beastials ) & Spells (Strategy, Field & Armaments). Chosen & tribals are core cards. They are almost linked together. Chosen are flipped to protect the tribal card. Tribals act as turn by turn buffs effecting battlefield & style of play. Strategy cards are instant cards. Once you use them, they are exhausted and sent to the graveyard unless stated otherwise. Field cards activate when placed and stays in the spot they are placed until they are destroyed by attack or condition. They can be activated for multiple turns. Armaments are cards that attach to other cards as armor with special buffs. When attacked players can chose to defend with a card that isn’t exhausted.
